The objective of the ShutterBugs community is first and foremost, to have a good time and in the process to improve photographic skills of the members. To achieve these goals, a comprehensive program has been established to provide many opportunities for each member to advance at his or her own skill level. Our four meetings each month provide different opportunities and members may choose any or all of the meetings as they wish.

On the first meeting of each month a presentation is made on the use of Photoshop Elements basic skills.

The second meeting of each month is an opportunity to either learn basic camera skills from one of our members or to enjoy valuable information presented by a guest speaker. In addition we will have a “Show and Tell” presentation of members photos demonstrating their skills at photographing specific subject matter from our Challenges.

The third meeting of the month is dedicated to advancing the skills of our more dedicated members in working with Photoshop Elements in layers.

And that brings us to our most exciting event of the month our “Shootout” when you will have an opportunity to join other members of the ShutterBugs in an adventure far or near planned for all of us to enjoy our environment and photograph it. This kind of activity provides opportunities to ask questions of fellow members on how better to shoot specific subjects. Trips planned are as near as Shalom Park and as far as St. Augustine. You won’t want to miss any of these exciting adventures.
